Preparation - 1 pt/day with no trips out of the room except for calls to the office or medical situations In Class Group and Individual Work - assignments out of the text or packets = 10 - 20 pts/assignment (this included subwork)
Homework - to reinforce the concepts/objectives we worked on in class = 2 pts/assignment that isn't collected*
Lab activities - these will be done with a partner. More details are provided on the lab activities page = 25 - 50 pts/lab (usually 30 pts)**
Quizzes - these are all preannounce and individual; the goal of which is to keep you on track - quizzes 1 - 2 / week = 10 - 25 pts***
Tests - also preannounced and individual; these check for mastery = 1 - 2 / quarter = 100 pts
Projects - details when assigned = 1/quarter*** = 50 pts
* - Some homework will be collected and assigned the value of 5 points. I will not announce which will be collected.
** - You will have prelab quizzes with some labs. These quiz grades will be incorporated into you lab grade.
*** - This may change depending on the speed at which we move through the content.
Each quarter is worth 20%, the midterm is worth 10%, and the final is worth 10% of your overall grade.
