By the end of the unit the students will be able to:

1 - Describe Bohr's model of the atom, listing the differences between his model and the models that came before it.

2 - Describe the current model of the atom (charge-cloud or Quantum Theory), listing the differences between this model and the models that came before it.

3 - Write the electron configurations for (any of the) elements in the first (five) rows of the periodic table, using: standard electron configuration notation (2.7).
